Stripping agent for vat dyes DA-BS800 is suitable for stripping and leveling for vat, sulphur, reactive and direct dyes.
DA-BS800 is a stripping and leveling agent which has a strong affinity with cotton fiber. It is suitable for vat, sulfur, reactive and direct dyes. Besides, it is a retarding agent for vat and direct dyes. Also it can prevent white staining when washing after direct and reactive printing.

Application
1. Stripping after dyeing and printing
For vat dyes
Significant results can be achieved when add DA-BS800 to stripping bath of vat dyes. While the stripping effect depend on the amount of DA-BS800. Recommended dosage for stripping is as follows when in big liquid ratio.
3-5 g/L DA-BS800
As refer to deep color, suggest adding protective colloid, such as Dekol SN-S (2g/L) or dispersing agents such as Setamol WS or Uniperol AC (2g/L) to avoid precipitation. If it is hard water, we recommend adding Dekol SN-S or Trilon TB. The stripping temperature should be as high as possible, but can not exceed 85°C in order to maintain the stability of the dye bath.
Recipe:
2 g/L Dekol SN-S
1-2 g/L Setamol WS or/and
1-2 g/L Uniperol AC
10-15 mL/L Sodium hydroxide
5-6 g/L Sodium hydrosulfite
3-5 g/L DA-BS800
Keep for 45-60mins at 60-85°C(checkout the reduction state), then warm washing, cold washing.
The greater the dye bath, the smaller risk of dye precipitation in DA-BS800 solution.
Light color 1:5 Medium color 1:8 to 1:10
Deep color 1:10 or more greater
For sulfur dyes
DA-BS800 can strip sulfur dyes also. The dyeing matters can be stripped in bath of sodium hydroxide and sodium hydrosulfite, but can’t in boiling bath of sodium sulfide. The stripping method or application rule of sulfur dyes is same to vat dyes.
For direct dyes
The stripping recipe for direct dyes is as follows,
1 g/L Sodium carbonate
2 g/L Sodium hydrosulfite
2 g/L DA-BS800
Keep for 30-60min at 50°C,then rinse thoroughly.
For reactive dyes
The stripping recipe for reactive dyes is as follows,
15 ml/L Sodium hydroxide
5 g/L Sodium hydrosulfite
2 g/L DA-BS800
Keep for 30-60min at 60-80°C,then rinse thoroughly.
2. Cooking light application of direct dyes
The direct dyed fabric should be treated in large bath with nearly boiling water.
0.5-2 g/L Sodium carbonate
1-3 g/L DA-BS800
0.5-1g/L Trilon TB can be added into the dye bath after the dyes are fixed with copper salt.
3. Washing after direct and reactive printing
DA-BS800 can prevent white staining when washing after direct or reactive printing. It can also avoid ground staining in direct printing process.
DA-BS800 is especially recommended for those reactive dyes which are difficult to wash off. In addition to the regular detergents, 0.5-1.5g/L DA-BS800 should be added to the work solution.
4. Level dyeing of vat and direct dyes
For vat dyes
DA-BS800 has very strong retarding effect, so it can provide leveling effect, especially in harsh conditions, such as cheese yarn light dyeing. For the sake of avoiding unnecessary dyes wastage, only a small amount of DA-BS800 can be used.
The recipe of level dyeing is as below,
2 g/L Dekol SN-S
0.5-2 g/L Peregal P
0.05-0.3 g/L DA-BS800
